NEWSLETTER – FEB. 1-5

RELIGION – We will study about a missionary. We will also work on various activities for CSW.

READING – We will not read a new story this week. We’ll work on the Unit Test. We’ll also read poetry.

ENGLISH – We’ll work on verbs and writing poetry. We’ll also illustrate the stories they are typing for publication.

SPELLING – The new words are: learn, point, city, play, and toward. We’ll work on adding s and es to words. Spelling homework is due on Thursday.

MATH – We’ll have a Chapter 6 Test on Wednesday. Students won’t have homework on Tuesday, but they may need to review a little for the test.

SCIENCE – Moon and its phases will be studied.

SOCIAL STUDIES – We’ll work on map skills.


· We have many extras planned for Catholic Schools Week. Hopefully most of you will be able to make it to lunch on one of the days.
· Friday is early dismissal day.
· Tuesday is Student Appreciation Day. We’ll have a special treat at school.
· Students will begin working in Power Point on Thursday. Be sure to ask them about their presentation.
