NEWSLETTER – SEPT. 20-24

RELIGION – We will study the domestic church and St. Martin of Tours.

READING – We’ll read If You Made a Million. We will work on realism/fantasy and sequencing. Students should study vocabulary for this story. Selection Test is on Friday.

ENGLISH – We will work on types of sentences, commands and exclamations in particular. We will also complete and share character descriptions.

SPELLING – The new words are: world, want, going, school, and important. We will work on /or/ sound spelled or and ore. We will also work on vowel digraphs with long a, e, or o. Homework is due on Thursday and test is Friday.

MATH – The Chapter 1 test is Tuesday. Students will need to complete pg. 44-45 on Monday. Next we will begin money.

SCIENCE – The Chapter C1 test is on Thursday. Students need to complete C28-29 by Tuesday.

SOCIAL STUDIES – We will study city government and resources.


· A.R. progress slips were sent home last week. Students should have earned at least 5 points. Some may need to get busy reading.
· Water bottles are only for water, please.
· Team Building with Olympic Teams is Friday.
